Therefore, the platform can promote Nanjing Jiangbei New Area to become the first pilot demonstration area for the transfer and transformation of new drug achievements in China, and promote the rapid development of the regional life and health industry.

National Health and Medical Big Data Super-computing Centre (Eastern China)
The National Health and Medical Big Data Center is located in Yangtze Sci-Tech Innovation Center of Jiangbei New Area industrial technology research and innovation park. It plans to build a unified, authorized and interconnected population health information platform in Eastern China, which will cover 200 to 300 million people.
The center has built a super-computing center with a storage capacity of 52PB and a computing scale of 35,000 cores. The current operating speed peak is 2340TFlops, ranking the fourth in China; storage resources are classified into four forms, such as ultra-hot all-flash, hot-storage, warm-storage and cold-storage according to different application objectives. Among them, all-flash memory adopts the first domestic EMC all-flash large-scale storage array with a capacity of 1PB.
The current data storage and computing devices equipped in the center can meet the needs in two or three years. According to the principle of intensive utilization of resources, the device resources of group companies such as China telecom will be introduced for joint construction in the future.
The center will take the direction of networking, collaboration and integration in the future, will setup the service mode for the integration , continuity disease diagnose and health management that based on the information sharing, knowledge integration and multidisciplinary collaboration, will construct he health and medical big data sharing platform for the integration of medical care, health care and nursing care.
The center will also promote the development of precision medical technology, to realize the sustainable management and control in the whole process of the disease and health; carry out services of the whole-cycle health and medical big data, to form a unified, authorized and interconnected health and medical big data application and development demonstration center of the largest scale and computing capacity in China.
